During May through October, we require a cooler with our shipments. Also, we ship only 2nd Day Air. So you may want to do the same with your shipments to CA. Inform your recipient when the order will arrive, so that they can be there to receive the package. The cheese may arrive warm, but will firm up again when refrigerated. David Falck Wisconsin Online
