![]() Event Location and Address FieldsHere's how to use the Location and Address fields to help people find your event:The Location field is used to identify the location of your event in general terms. Examples:
The Street Address and the City will be appended to the Location in your Wisconline event listing, and are searchable in Keyword searches. The Street Address, City and ZIP Code fields together will be used by our mapping service to be introduced later to precisely plot your event for people who need a local map or driving directions. Enter these fields as you would for addressing a letter. Use standard abbreviations in the Street Address (St for Street, Ave for Avenue, Blvd for Boulevard, Pky for Parkway, and so on). Make sure the City (or village or town) name is spelled correctly. The 5-digit ZIP Code is required for the mapping service, but will not appear in the online listing. Finally, make sure you also indicate the County. County searches are frequently used by people to find events of interest, and the County allows your event to be found easily from your County's home page on Wisconline. |
