Camp Bovey

Gordon, Douglas County
 See Camp Location
Welcome to Camp Bovey, where young people and teens have been creating memories and friendships for over 65 years! Our mission is to provide a safe place for youth to have fun while participating in outdoor activities that help build respect for themselves, one another and the environment. Located in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin on Lake Metzger, Camp Boveys 200 acres offer the perfect setting for youth to experience the wonders of nature and focus on leadership, outdoor education and skill building.

At Camp Bovey, every day is a new adventure, full of intentional learning and memories. Our days are filled with educational activities, games, and of course, swimming! Campers learn about nature, the outdoors, working with each other and how to impact their community. Our exceptionally trained staff come from area colleges and they ensure that all campers make the most out of their experience. Campers leave camp with plenty of memories and new friends, along with life skills, such as cooperation, confidence, and independence.

This makes the Camp Bovey experience unique, as we operate a family-like atmosphere that fosters the healthy development and well being of our campers, while strengthening or diverse community.

Camp Bovey is an accredited camp of the American Camping Association.
