Brookfield Academy STAR Summer Program

Brookfield, Waukesha County
 See Camp Location
Day camp for young children. Each week will focus on a children's author as a theme. Authors to be covered are Eric Carle, Dr. Seuss, Jan Brett, and Norman Bridwell. Every session includes literature appreciation, reading, writing, math, and the arts. Campers will write and illustrate their own books. There will be plenty of time for outdoor play, snacks, crafts, and other fun activities.

Location -
Western suburb of Milwaukee. One half mile south of Capitol Drive on Brookfield Road.
Program -
Day camp. Sessions for - coeds grades K to 2. Day care available 7:30 am - 9:00 am and 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm.
Season -
June 13 to July 22. No camp June 27 - July 8
Sessions -
June 13 - 24, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
July 11 - 22, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Registration -
Call 262-783-3200 to register. Complete catalog of registration materials will be ready to mail by March, 2005.
Fees -
$425 per two-week session.
Activities: Computers/technology, crafts, mathematics, music, nature/environmental studies, outdoor skills, painting/drawing, reading/book study, writing
