Summer Arts Camp 2009 at Walker's Point Center for the Arts

|WPCA offers seven exciting weeks of Summer Art Camp. The camp is an excellent way for children ages 6 to 12 to be creative in a safe environment with professional instructors from diverse backgrounds in art. We offer an air-conditioned classroom with an access to an outdoor garden and snacks every afternoon. We also spend two weeks outdoors working on Environmental Art projects in the Menomonee River Valley. |
Activities include painting and printmaking, ceramics, drum-making and rhythm, dance, Native-American crafts, and earthwork art installation. Students are introduced to environmental issues and learn about Latin and African culture.
Students can sign up for each week or the entire seven-week period.
