 NRL22 September Course of Fire
Saturday, September 12, 2020. 9 am - 2 pm. We sponsor NRL22 meets to help improve and fine tune rifle skills through various scenarios. This is a family friendly, fun form of shooting that uses .22LR caliber rifles. Any .22LR caliber rifle works but an adjustable scope and a detachable magazine help. This is normally the second Saturday of each month as listed on our events calendar. Meets start at 10am but the range opens at 9am for sighting your rifle.  Run for the Fallen 2020
Saturday, September 12, 2020. 8:30 am. September 12th, 2020 - Join the Kronenwetter Fire Department as we honor the memory of the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11th, 2001. Sign up for the 6th annual Run for the Fallen to remember those who gave it all and pay tribute to those who continue to serve our communities today. This family-friendly event includes a 5K run/walk, 10K Run, 1 Mile Kid's Run and 1 Mile Firefighter Challenge. $25 - $40. Towering Pines Park, 2355 Tower Road, Kronenwetter, Marathon County.  Brisk Fall Clean Up Day
Saturday, October 10, 2020. 10am - 3pm. Join us for a fun day of Fall cleanup at MREA's headquarters in Custer, WI. We'll be preparing our site for the colder months, and we would love your help. Meet staff and other volunteers who are passionate about building a more sustainable future. Please dress for the weather, and warm up after by our wood burning masonry heater. Friday, March 19, 2202. 10:30 am - 11:00 am. The Betty Brinn Children's Museum's offers weekly programs for visitors, free with regular admission. Tot Time features songs, stories, games and other activities for the Museum's youngest visitors. Recommended for children ages 1-3.  Collection Focus: Mary Giles
Wednesday, October 21, 2020 through Saturday, January 23, 2021. 12 pm. In its current makeup, RAM's fiber collection is anchored by artists interested in baskets and basketmaking techniques. Mary Giles, with 19 pieces now at RAM and others promised, is one of the most well-represented fiber artists with works spanning over three decades. RAM has been acquiring Giles' work since the early 2000s through gifts from donors, but these pieces have never been brought together in a single gallery space until now.
